“I have enjoyed running many groups over the last 15 years. It is a luxury in our busy lives to take time to reflect and interact with others in a heartfelt way. It may lead to insight, to feeling moved, to sudden laughter or to profound change.
I also enjoy the flexibility, the creativity and the here and now focus of Gestalt therapy. I bring to it my fascination with body process and movement patterns.
Developmental Somatic psychotherapy, as taught by Dr. Ruella Frank, is a way of exploring early psychological blocks through attention to movement patterns, relationship and contact as they are experienced in the here and now. In a very immediate way, this powerful approach helps people discover deeper feelings and increased self awareness. This opens doors to greater choice and new ways of being. “
